I had the runtime problem so I downloaded Fiefox again. However, now I cannot search for anything. I tried the suggestion about trying the Safe Mode, with add-ons disabled but it's still not letting me search for any URL or keywords. When I type anything in either box, pressing Enter or the Search arrow does nothing. Please help!

Thank you, Philipp! I checked and it seems that I was indeed running Firefox in compatibility mode, though I did not recall checking that option. Thanks for the prompt reply; problem solved!
