Firefox android keeps a full history of entries form the address bar. This list is very helpful when using "search history" option for address bar autocomplete or suggestions. ("Firefox suggests")

HOWEVER, it is insanity inducing when invalid entries exist in that list, as they are endlessly suggested, but cannot easily be exorcised from said list.

Sure, the list can be displayed, and individual or even multiple entries can be displayed (as described in this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-your-browsing-history-firefox-android

However, this technique requires you to manually scroll through thousands of entries to select the items you may wish. There is no tool to sort the list or any other list manipulation tools. There is a search function, as identified by the magnifying glass icon in the menu bar, and the search tool quickly displayed all the target appearances from the thousands. It even conveniently shows them on the search results page... BUT you cannot effect any of the actions available for the unsearched list. All you can do is open one of the search results. You can't delete, select or anything.

This makes editing the history for invalid or otherwise undesirable entries IMPOSSIBLE.

The tool set needs to be extended to the search results list, or some other tool needs to be provided to edit the history in some other way.

Any suggestions are welcome, this could also be considered s feature suggestion. My only option is to use a different browser, and that is very unplayable to me. I am a radio firefox defender.

I closed an account that I had gmail send all my information from. Now that I want to download it, I can't due to the fact that it wants me to log into the account that no longer exists. If I try signing in to another account to try to download it will not let me. This is a brand new phone and I can't open my bank app due to a message that keeps reading " page management" ,have installed and Uninstaller it. Been to bank, TMobile site and simply nothing works and now i can't recover my downloads from an account that was closed even though I downloaded them cause it keeps sending me the email address of the account that's closed and won't accept another account to open the download. Thank you. Sara M Roscher. [Email address]

When I first started using my tablet, the browser seemed to function as it does on my computer. For example, Facebook messages would open within the Facebook page. Now, I have to open the Facebook messenger app for those messages. I'd rather not have to do that. I'm thinking I may have clicked a button to optimize for mobile, but I can't figure out how to undo that. Please help.

Thank you.

Here is a "story": 1. I want to sign in into github using a passkey stored on my yubikey 2. I plug in my yubikey 5C into my phone (samsung z flip 6) 3. I open github.com in firefox 4. I press "sign in with a passkey" 5. Firefox opens some samsung chooser, I choose "other devices > show qr code" 6. login fails and firefox opens Google's prompt to enter pin for the yubikey (but the login already failed, so it does not matter)

My roommate experiences the same bug with his yubikey and his samsung S24.

Doing the same in chrome works. Instead of opening samsung thing it opens Google thing directly where I can choose "use a different device" and it works after that (no login fail).

Is this a known issue? Can I do something to fix it or at least debug it?

(images are, in order, "prompt when using 'sign in with a passkey' in firefox", "login fails as soon as I tap 'show QR code'", and "prompt when using 'sign in with a passkey' in chrome)
