Recent update nuked all my custom containers, and closed every page that was currently open within those containers (pretty devastating bug).

Now, I go to add sites to the new custom containers I made to replace the earlier ones. When I go Manage Containers > pick a custom container > "manage site list ..." and there is no list. Just a blank window.

There have been some changes and new additions to the croatian dictionary (https://github.com/krunose/hunspell-hr) and as such, the Firefox dictionary could be updated.

Can you confirm that the dictionaries and language packs are separate additions and that the dictionaries are used for spellchecking? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/

When is the spellcheck dictionary installed, only when the user installs it or when the user installs a language pack?

In addition, the croatian dictionary has not been active for the past eight years. I'm on FF 154.0. The power went out here and when it came back and I booted the desktop computer something had changed in FF.

I used to see the active tab as green in the tab bar and yellow for the rest, but now they're all gray until I mouse over the bar and only then does it turn green/yellow.

I struggled with this for many hours trying many //active tab color// solutions I found in searches but nothing got it back to my old behavior.

So as a last resort I tried adding the Firefox Color extension, but when I click Add to Firefox it just turns into a throbber that never changes so it doesn't install. I'm stuck!

so i installed the atarashii extension, but it didn't work for me, so i deleted it, then rebooted my pc to notice that it's running, and i can't unistall it, i disabled it but for some reason it still works

Hello. I remember, long ago, there was an extension, that kept the search engines sorted alphabetically (I had a lot of them), now I can't remember the name of the extension, not I can find an extension that does this.

Hi 🙂 This is a follow-up to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1511440.

The problem is this: support.mozilla.org is a site intended for asking support questions, and it is very inconvenient not to be able to use extensions that assist with typing (notably Unicodify and Clippings).

i have 2 suggestions to do:

1) Let the user choose whether to keep extensions enabled (in which case support.mozilla.org is not privileged, the user cannot send "Troubleshooting Information", and there is no security vulnerability), or to send "Troubleshooting Information" (in which case extensions are disabled).

2) Review the design of support.mozilla.org in a way that a subdomain like ffinfos.support.mozilla.org is privileged instead of support.mozilla.org, Firefox sends "Troubleshooting Information" to ffinfos.support.mozilla.org, and extensions are enabled on support.mozilla.org but can never interact with data that Firefox would send to ffinfos.support.mozilla.org.

I open Extensions and I can't find my extension so I open manage extensions and it shows but it's not letting me use it the image that is roblox unfriender is the one not showing up and the picture of 2 extensions is the ones showing up don't roast me I'm a new user

I mistakenly posted this query to the Thunderbird forum. It is a Firefox extension issue. [Sigh]

For over a week, the WIKI2 extension has not been working in Firefox on Linux Mint 22.3. "Normal" operation (when it's working) is for a link clicked to a Wikipedia page to be automatically re-directed to the WIKI2 rendering of that page. This no longer happens.

Further, I receive this when trying to access their web site: Sorry, you have been blocked You are unable to access wiki2.org

Experience has taught me, when something that has been working flawlessly suddenly stops working, to ask, "Is it me, or is it you?" I'm not about to start twisting dials to fix a problem that is on their end.

Has anyone here experienced this same recent behavior with the WIKI2 extension?

If so, I'll leave it alone until the problem is fixed on their site.

I've got Firefox with 4 adblockers: AdBlocker Ultimate, AdLock, Element Blocker and uBlock Origin. Still, https://www.youtube.com/c/franceinfo/live (news channel) sneaks ads before and after the weather forecasts. "C'était la météo avec Florette" (you watched the weather forecast with Florette salad sauce - of course I didn't!).

I can't find how to get rid of it. Please advise.

On https://support.startpage.com/hc/en-us/articles/4616565301524-What-is-the-Settings-URL it states, "You can save your Startpage preferences by clicking the Save your settings button at the bottom of the Settings page." I cannot find any such button anywhere in my Settings. I want to save "-youtube -facebook -spotify -instagram" to my search parameters. Thank you!

I am the developer of FastF1, an open source Python package for downloading and analyzing Formula 1 race results, timing data and telemetry. The package is widely used in the fan community for independent analysis of results. For some advanced features, the addon requires users to authenticate with their Formula1/F1TV account. Since their services don't have an open login API, a companion addon is required to allow users to sign in using their browser and the official website.

I have just noticed that my developer account has been banned and the addon was blocked in Firefox. I have not received any email about this and don't know why exactly this decision was made. I'd like appeal this and reinstate my account and the addon, but I don't know how to proceed from here.

I hope this problem can be resolved.

I've been using alt+a to open new tabs in a multi account container for a long time. Recently that shortcut stopped working possibly with the update to v148 as indicated in this reddit thread.

alt+a is not listed as a shortcut in about:keyboard or in about:addons > manage extension shortcuts or in my ubuntu shortcuts nor in any software I can think of thats running. I've disabled all add-ons except multi account containers and it still does not work. Changing the shortcut to another works fine.

Why would just that shortcut stop working? What else can I do to diagnose the problem?
