After a re-start, my Firefox browser on a Dell laptop lost all history and has since also not been collecting websites visited. When opening a new tab, the shortcuts and recently visited websites are also gone and no longer being collected. My CCleaner recently updated itself to a new version but I unchecked the delete history for Firefox (which treacherously is clicked by default - I fell into that trap before). Happy to blame the new CCleaner but that would not explain why history is not being collected now - to me the fault seems to lie with Firefox instead. Another possibility that went through my mind: Is Microsoft sabotaging users of Windows 11 to force them to buy new? PS: Under "Privacy", "History", the setting is "Firefox will remember history", as it always has been and should be. But it has forgotten all previous history and it is no longer collecting any new history either!

Desktop link to Firefox issue

After installing Firefox on a new Windows 11 computer, when I click on the Desktop icon, a Firefox window opens but it doesn't open previous Tabs and the Application menu… (மேலும் படிக்க)

After installing Firefox on a new Windows 11 computer, when I click on the Desktop icon, a Firefox window opens but it doesn't open previous Tabs and the Application menus does not work. I can open new Tabs though and it downloads websites. If I click on the Firefox icon on the Windows Taskbar, Firefox operates normally.

Why doesn't the Desktop icon start Firefox so it works correctly?

Keep having issues with https://www.asda.com while using firefox. You go to a category or sub category and either no products load in or you get just products they want to advertise at you like the "popular now" in the attached screenshots. Sometimes refreshing can bring up the products for the category but not reliably. Both attached screenshots were taken with troubleshoot mode turned on.

FINALLED, I TRIED THE DEVELOPER VERSION: NO MORE CRASHES! I READ THE RESPONSES FROM YOUR CLUELESS STAFF TO OTHER CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME TROUBLE. THIS IS NOT A WINDOWS ERROR; THIS IS A FIREFOX APPLICATION ERROR. MAYBE SOME OF YOUR FIREFOX DEVELOPER CODERS SHOULD ASSIST THE 32-BIT AND 64-BIT DEVELOPERS. My bookmarks on my laptop has lost 90% of my bookmarks. I try to sync with my PC but nothing happens and the laptop remains the same. I've tried closing the browser and logout and login again but nothing changes. I've turn of the laptop and turning on still nothing. How can I be log in and see a different layout, it doesn't make any sense. The only thing I have change on this laptop is down loaded a new version of CClean. Which I have already done the day before on my PC. I've attached a copy of both screens 743 is from my PC and the other 534 is from my laptop.

Yesterday I received non-stop pop ups from <opb-protect.pro> on Firefox, and only Firefox. On going to <Permissions> I checked that I had turned on block pop-ups. It was turned on. But under notifications this sinister pop up had inserted itself as <Allowed>. It has inserted this; <https://d3ka84anaffc73c14rf0.opb-protect.pro>

I had now set that to <Block>. I mention this because this mob have managed to work around the Mozilla pop-up blocker.

When browsing, I sometimes (more often than not) get a Secure Connection Failed message. The Try Again tab clears the problem sometimes (not that often). This problem has just started happening in the last week, during which I have not made changes to any settings in Firefox. This problem does not exist using other search engines for the same site that I am trying to access, and I note that I also get this same failure when trying to access some Firefox webpages. Is there a fix to this other than contacting the web site owner, which I doubt is the cause of the problem, or for ease and simplicity should I just change to another search engine that does not have the problem?
