Best Buy Tech support took control of my computer today to get my printer to scan to the computer. After that was done, I went to my FIREFOX hompage only to see it completely changed from the way it was and I am now trying to get it back.

Attached below is a screenshot of my homepage for Firefox desktop (Windows 11). I have uBlock Origin, but it doesn't block anything on the homepage. I have two specific concerns:

• I tried inputting both gmail.com and mail.google.com addresses for the URL of my shortcut, but it always displays a generic icon instead.
• The YouTube icon isn't transparent.

I used the same layout/theme on a previous Windows 11 install and these two problems did not occur at all. What's the possible solution for this?

I will rather that when I open Firefox, it opens to a specific page such as Refdesk.com. Please guide me to where I may select this option. Thanks

I don't know which topic describes my question. I want to put the New York Times as a short cut on my firefox home page and it won't do it. For a bit of history, I USED to have the short cut and one day it was removed by Firefox when it re-arranged things.

I linked Google to open when I enter my Firefox browser and I want to delete Google and learn Firefox but I can’t get out of Google. How do I unlink it. From where ?

So at one point Firefox asked me if I wanted to have Gmail on my desktop toolbar so I could open it without opening Firefox. Stupidly, I said, "Sure, sounds nice." Later, I realized I do not like this option because now when I open Firefox, it cannot open Gmail as the first tab that opens which is my preference. Now I open Firefox, and instead of opening my Gmail as the first thing I see, I only get to see the Gmail logo and loading screen which never fills, which never opens Gmail. And I want Firefox to open straight up into my Gmail page, I don't want to watch it try and fail. So I removed the desktop toolbar icon that Firefox made when it offered me. But that didn't fix anything. Still, now if I open Firefox, I just get Gmail loading bar, never filling, never showing me my nice page. Help!!

Every time I visit a website, it creates a shortcut on homepage, and Its annoying... 😖Please can Mozilla developers separate the "sites you save" and "sites you visit" under Shortcut option, I would be grateful.

Home page bookmarks are missing. I am not able to add bookmarks on the home page either. But if I click on the top search bar, all of my missing bookmarks appear, but just a miniaturized version. Please restore the original home page layout.

Since the most recent update installed on Firefox, my homepage no longer loads on opening the browser. Instead, a blank page loads, and I have to hit the home button in order to get to my home page. I've checked and none of my settings have changed, so don't see what else it can be other than some kind of bug?

I have a GPO policy that sets Homepage for startup to open specific URL, and now it just stopped working after last update to version 149, instead i get standard FF startpage.

- tried updating .admx templates to the newest version

- about:policies shows correctly that GPO is enforced

Everything checks out but somehow it is not working anymore. Someone with similar problem?
