I have set E:\ as my default download location. However in some cases Firefox does not respect my choice and silently downloads stuff to C:\Users\Name\Downloads. I really hate this. One example, a pdf downloaded from here https://scribd.vpdfs.com/. Please fix it. Thx.

I have "Don't enable HTTPS-Only Mode" selected and still cannot connect to local sites. Example http://192.168.1.81 is chnaged to https://192.168.1.81 and rrecive cannot connect message.

This problem started after you last week after an update.

Ever since a few weeks ago, some of my add-ons as well as every new add-on I added after that are unavailable at the start of Firefox. I then have to click into the application menu, click on the warning message for that add-on and enable it again. Since this is quite tedious and frustrating, I tried looking online for any info. I tried updating everything, disabling and enabling manually and removed and re-added some if the add-ons that cause issues.

I am loath to set up a fresh profile or reset all add-ons as that would cost a lot of time to configure everything again. In hopes of a solution that avoids that I am asking here now.

The steps I have taken so far:

• Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions (everything was fine)
• Reloaded page using Shift+ Left Click to bypass cache
• Reloaded page with Ctrl + F5
• Started Firefox in Troubleshoot mode to assure it wasn't my extensions (I only use ublock but better safe than sorry)
• I disabled extensions after reloading in usual mode

What steps are next after these basic troubleshooting? I was hoping to use that site to share creations with friends.

I use Firefox as my primary browser. I have always been able to sign in with Google Nest without any problem. I always entered my user name and then my password and I would be logged into my Nest account.

But now I click on my Google account (https://home.nest.com/login/) and then I click on Nest/Sign in/Sign in with Google. Then I just loop around between the two Google pages.

This started a few days ago. I can't figure it out so now I use Chrome or Safari. But I'd much rather use Firefox. Any ideas? Any help is very much appreciated.

If I open this link normally (which, for me, means in a new tab) I am sent to Captcha screen, and upon answering it, then appears only a text outline (not the CSS code) of the page. If I open IN NEW PRIVATE WINDOW, I get the captcha screen again and after answering it, the page opens correctly.

(I usually don't get the captcha quiz from Autohotkey forum also, but that may be their doing. I also can state the captcha screen is not because cookies have been erased. I keep most all cookies.) Firfefox.)

Recently Firefox has been randomly crashing the past 3 weeks multiple times, Is anyone else having this odd issue ? I'll be watching a stream or youtube video and bam out of no where the Browser goes black for like 20 or 30 seconds then crashes. Hi ! I am using the latest firefox on win11 (latest updates). Since approx 2-3 days whenever I try to comment on youtube or edit an existing comment I cannot see what I am typing. I can still type and commit, the comment will appear and I it will contain what I typed. But when doing it initially it is invisble to me. If I reply to a comment I can see what I type.

Hello, I am running Firefox on a W10-Pro PC. I always click the lock to check certificate validation. In the last month I keep seeing "Connection verified by a certificate issuer that is not recognized by Mozilla".

When I click for more information I see that "Norton Web/Mail Shield" does not recognize the certificate issuer. When I click on Learn More it takes me to a Firefox site "How to disable the Enterprise Roots preference" I also checked W10 certmgr.msc and I see Norton is listed. Images included below. There are times where I like having the title bar appear on my laptop display of a webpage. Other times I want to take a screenshot of selected page content, and the title bar just obstructs ability to fit the bottom line or two of the page content I want to screenshot. Yes i know I can reduce the zoom size of the page display itself, but sometimes (often) due to the page layout's CSS, this results in both too-small type for me to comfortably read AND even with the text reflow, it's not enough to reveal the extra bottom of page content I am trying to capture.

The Firefox UI controls are very robust and well-appreciated how much customization can be had, but still, the number of steps required to go in and turn Title Bar off is just way too many for quick and efficient workflow -- especially when after getting the screenshot I want, I will want to just turn Title-Bar back on. Surely there must be a way to create an icon option that lives next to Home, Bookmarks, Downloads, Refresh whose function is to actuate a quick 1/2 second toggle off, then a quick toggle back on?
