turned on my computer and Firefox and have no bookmarks

when i start edge it imports all the firefox data from my computer tried to shut it off and edge just starts it up again

I use Firefox on Windows. I like it. But I also have an HP Chromrbook and I would rather use Firefox than Chrome. But I really don't want to do the entire Linux dance. Is there an easier way to get Firefox for my HP Chromebook?

Firefox no longer suggests addresses in url bar

Usually, when I start typing the address of a website I visit frequently, Firefox will suggest the complete address. Now, for the last week or so, it doesn't. For example, if I start typing guardian.com, the default is to search, and then only when I type the final "m" does it switch to "visit" when I press enter.

In settings, under Search, and Address bar, the box to suggest browsing history is checked, and at about:config, browser.urlbar.autofill is set to true.

I have Firefox version 141.0.3

Recovering bookmarks from old machine

I just replaced my Win 10 desktop with a new Win 11 desktop. I downloaded Firefox OK, but my bookmarks are no longer there, of course. I was told that there was some way… (மேலும் படிக்க)

I just replaced my Win 10 desktop with a new Win 11 desktop. I downloaded Firefox OK, but my bookmarks are no longer there, of course. I was told that there was some way to recover them to this machine, but I didn't get any details how. In fact, the person implied they would just appear when I downloaded Firefox to the new machine. Of course, this didn't happen. Firefox did appear to recognize me (got a "welcome back, by the way" message near the top of the page). Can I somehow recover my old bookmarks to this machine?

Tabs keep crashing

Issue started a few month ago, tabs crashing 10+ times each day. All my crash reports says "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ" but i dont know what is causing it, happens … (மேலும் படிக்க)

Why do some web pages not display, or only parts of them will be displayed on Firefox, but work fine on Chrome? I do not want to use Chrome for privacy concerns, but I have noticed the same thing at work. Chrome seems to show more types of HTML and variety related content, then Firefox can. Do I need to add some other type of content plugin maybe?
