I am unable to sign into the iCloud web page on Firefox. I can sign in on Microsoft Edge, or on the Safari browser on my phone, so this is clearly a Firefox specific problem. When I try to sign in, the page skips the option that verifies my identity and goes straight to a message saying "Failed to verify your identity, Try again" without allowing the verification to occur. The verification would occur if the page would allow it to, as it does in the other browsers I mentioned. This was working fine last time I logged in a few days ago, so this is a new problem. I could switch over to Edge, but would prefer to use Firefox, if I can. Please help me. Thank you.

Recently an update made it to where closing a tab group no longer works. It closes MOST of the tab group, leaving the last used one active along with a number to the right such as "+3" to show there are three more tabs hidden. This completely defeats the purpose of being able to close the tab group in the first place. In order to get around this, you have to click another tab to make it active and only then will the tab group you tried to close, actually close. Is there a way to disable this behavior so that closing tab groups actually works?
Assuming there is no fix, how can I downgrade to a previous version without losing all my settings, bookmarks, etc? Can I just uninstall the broken version and install the older version?

Hi, I've been using the latest Firefox version on 2 MacBook Pros, and the bookmark favicons are lost when syncing to other devices. They remain on the host device, but are not transferred to the synced device. This is my first attempt at syncing anything in Firefox, so I don’t have any previous settings/files that could be interfering.
Also, “Tabs from other devices” in the Firefox View window lists all of the tabs grouped together, and there are hundreds in the list. How can they be grouped by window (the same way that they appear in the browser), and is there a way to have them sync directly in the windows (w/ fwd/back history in tact) so that each browser appears identically when switching from one device to another?

I feel like I've tried everything to stop Firefox from automatically opening when I start my Windows 11 computer.
I've checked: task manager, the startup folder in Windows 11 (shell:startup), The registry under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run", Settings>Apps>Startup, and also in Firefox under Settings>"Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up", and under "about:config">toolkit.winRegisterApplicationRestart (change value to false).

Since the FireFox Desktop update over a month ago (and subsequent patches, currently on Version 142.0.1 (64-bit)), every time I type an email using AOL webmail in the FireFox browser using my Windows 10 Dell desktop, I can only type a few characters before the cursor jumps off the line I am typing and I have to use the mouse to reclick where it stopped typing to again try to retype. This can happen multiple times sometimes as a short as typing only one character before the cursor jumps and I cannot further type. It has now become soooo annoying that I am thinking of changing browers after having using FireFox for as long as I can remember. This does NOT occur when using any other browser, including Edge and Chrome, so it is not to AOL webmail app but rather something in FireFox.
Has anyone else reported the same? Can anything be done to fix this problem before I jump ship to Edge or Chrome on a permanent basis?

On Firefox, they've disappeared, but only on my Windows 10 computer. The YouTube thumbnails appear on Firefox on my MacBook. The attached graphic shows what it looks like on my Win 10 computer.
Any ideas on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. I have also searched the Internet and YouTube for a solution, but was unable to find one that works.

Hi, I am facing a problem where if i start multiple youtube videos and stop the last one that was started, then audio of all the other videos gets paused as well and the video continues, there isn't any change in the volume or in the volume tab icon. I am getting a bit frustrated here, because i tried a lot of options already and most of them just disable all audio. If anything is needed for testing or something, I will add it asap.

to summarise, upon installing the latest release in my new mac, instead of opening the link in a new tab when i right-click on it and press the T key, as was the case on my old mac, it now goes to 'translate this link to x' in the right click menu.
all the boxes in the 'translation settings' are left empty, so why do I still get this useless suggestion? how can I remove it from the menu?
and why is this supposedly 'privacy-focused browser' tracking my IP, which is the only way it could guess the language it suggests I translate my links to?

I'm experience trouble with firefox loading pages. It seems that some pages (about 1 in 10) will not load first try. Instead it results in either a "unable to connect", "Hmmm... Can't reach this page" or simply a blank page. I have not noticed any pattern in the pages on which this occurs and they all display correctly after a refresh. This problem only occurs on firefox. I have already tried disabling the proxy without any success. I'm looking for any suggestions for solving/diagnosing this issue.
