when i restarted firefox as requested, bookmarks displayed across top of screen were gone. the suggested fix was no help. Said cause was a FF file was in use. It implies i have Win10. I have Win11. **************

But in my up-to-date (or updated) FireFox, the restore backup by file option is appearing BUT enable backup or backup to file option is NOT appearing (screenshot attached).

I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

When trying to "Save" after pro-cococut finishes downloading a file that is larger than 1 Gig and I can't find out what to do in order to have it save large files.

You guys keep hijacking my browser and stopping all my work on a near weekly basis. Shutting down my ability to work on projects and stopping my browser from functioning in the middle of use. I can't even pay bills without you guys interrupting my browser with your bullcrap.

This is unacceptable. I've gone through great lengths trying to stop you from hijacking my browser. I installed a policy generator and followed the instructions to put a policy in. I uninstalled Firefox's background updater tool. I disabled automatic updates in the settings to the best of my ability.

I've gone through everything I can think of trying to stop your forced updates. Its unethical what Mozilla is doing to its users. I even tried to lock policies with admin only authorizations but firefox couldn't read the file anymore when I did that. I did confirm today that the policy file was still working, when Firefox ignored it and shut down my browser till I restarted it. I confirmed that Firefox is blatently ignoring policies.

I just checked and Background Maintnence was installed again when I didn't want it. You're now installing software against my will too? What the hell is going on.

the theme i chose for firefox ("clear") is no longer here when i quit and reopen the next day - then it's "eye friendly" (brand new mac / tahoe) - i probably do something wrong but dont know what… thank you if you may help

ich stelle bei vielen Seiten im Internet fest, daß mit Firefox die Texte nicht richtig dargestellt werden, als ob Übersetzungsfehler vorlägen. Wenn ich zum Vergleich die gleiche Seite im zweiten Monitor paralell auf MS Edge aufrufe erscheint der Text dort richtig dargestellt. Zur Verdeutlichung meines Problems habe ich zwei Screenshots angehängt. Sie erkennen oben eine fehlerfreie Darstellung und unten die gleiche Internet-Seite - zum gleichen Zeitpunkt - mit dem Mozolla Browser.

Was muß ich an welcher Stelle in den Einstellungen von Firefox V146.0.1 für 64 bit auf Windows 11 ändern, damit ich weiterhin bei Euch bleiben kann? Für Eure Unterstützung im Voraus herzlichen Dank. Gruß aus Deutschland/Bayern/Augsburg

A few days ago (December 17th or so), Firefox just up and stopped loading altogether. I’m trying everything I can find, but to no avail. The internet itself is working fine. This is the message I’m getting (see attached).

I’m getting desperate, I can only do so much on my phone!

I updated Firefox for my laptop this afternoon and another Firefox window opened and I had 2 windows. I closed the original window. I tried to restore my tabs and bookmarks in the new window. My Recently Closed Tabs and Recently Closed Windows are greyed out in the "hamburger"menu. I have tried everything; trying to restore from my profiles folder on my laptop, trying about:session and at this point I am Totally lost and frustrated. I am asking for help :-) please to have what I had before. Thank you

Since the update of Dec. 9, many of my longtime accounts do not recognize me, and I don't currently have workarounds. I also keep getting nasty messages that I'm in mortal danger because I've lost contact with iCloud. I have a son-in-law and grandchildren with extensive computer expertise who will visiting during the holidays, but during the holidays, but I would much prefer to be partying with them than holding computer repair clinics.

Are there any measures that a complete amateur can take to solve the worst of this Gordian knot?

Recently, websites (e.g., YouTube) have stopped keeping me logged in. I've already checked all the security and privacy settings, but haven't found anything that seems to be causing this.

I hope someone can help me. It's really annoying having to log in to all the websites every day.

I am so disappointing in the CEO's decision to push AI. Firefox has a very dedicated following BECAUSE it does not push AI and all the other shady things other Browsers push. Everyone I know will stop using Mozilla browsers if they continue on in implementing AI.

I have spent so many hours deleting every sneaky file, disabling every program, having all firewalls block any AI. (I really do need to switch to Linux with the amount of time I spend on this lol...)

How do we contact the higher ups? If large numbers of users emailed/heck even wrote (making a point that we will delete our Mozilla accounts if AI happens) maybe it could help? Or a petition?

Have 5yr old HP laptop and 6 mo old HP Laptop No issue logging into Schwab until today with old laptop Message says cannot authorize access Firefox is up to date If I change to Chrome; login works Ok Schwab IT person said something wrong with my Firefox

Any ideas ?
