I'm running Firefox 144.0.2 (64-bit) on a Mac using Sequoia 15.4.1 OS.

At the most recent Firefox update, I added VPN.

Since then, I've had a problem with Firefox hanging. Not immediately but after varying amounts of time, 20-60 minutes. I get an "Out of Application Memory" pop-up but the usage for both Firefox and other elements are well within normal range, not high. It's completely frozen and the only way out is to do a Force Quit.

There are times when doing a shut down I notice that VPN has somehow been turned Off and once I saw a message of Background Service Error attached to it.

Having to constantly re-start Firefox is a major pain. Oh-- I did turn off the background AI thing under Tabs. I hate AI and try to turn it off everywhere I find it. A resource suck and bad for the planet.

Any help appreciated.

Hello, I reinstalled Firefox and am unable to recover my bookmarks and other data. Before the re-installation, I manually backed up my data, but when I try to restore from the backup, it does not work. All my bookmarks and previous data are still missing. How can I fix this and recover my information?

Speech output for Albanian on the website "loecsen.com" > language course "Albanian". Words cannot be heard under Windows 11. What can I do? I downloaded the Albanian language pack, but the voice isn't there. Is this a Firefox or Windows problem?

144.0.2 firefox version has an issue with bookmarks keep, they keep dissapearing & i have to use firefox fix from uninstall option to restore. unable to use email links as it requests that i close firefox window before it can open links, when i do this all bookmarks are gone & i then have to start again. I'm running win11 25h2 with all updates done both chrome & edge are not causing issues

I've blocked access to nearby devices without knowing that this would affect my local network websites. Now the option to change this on the settings simply does not appear for me. What can I do?

THE ABOVE ERROR MESSAGE HAS PREVENTED ME FROM ACCESSING 3 WEBSITES - PaddyPower, Ladbrokes, & UK National Lottery. None of the suggested remedies has had any effect. Can you fix it?

I don't know why, but every time i open a pdf with the firefox pdf reader i get this kinda grainy view of the pdf. If i do the same with google is all good. I really don't know what to do, can you help me?

I don't have, and think I never had, an authenticator app. So how is the replacement MacBook requiring 2-step authentication that requires an authentication app before I can sync to my Win 10 websites? I am new to the MacBook, and it would help to know if it has an authenticator app, and how to get it to work with Firefox.

It appears even though I'm not using Firefox's auto-spelling feature. It now appears in the right-click menu. I've never seen this before, so is this a "new feature"? I want to delete it because it is not necessary in my environment.

The 144.0.2 update lost all my bookmarks. i can not find these under the Windows Users/Roaming Data/Mozilla. etc... I tried to install the previous version and it didn't work. Also tried restoring Windows to before the update and that didn't work. Where did my bookmarks go. Annoying. you can tell corporations are getting involved with Firefox.
