Hello, I am facing a strange issue while using Firefox browser. When I try to play LetterBoxed NYT, the game sometimes gets stuck on the loading screen or loads very slowly. The same website works fine on other browsers like Chrome and also on Android devices, so I’m not sure if this is a browser compatibility issue or something related to caching, cookies, or browser settings.
I have already tried clearing cache, disabling extensions, and updating Firefox to the latest version, but the issue still appears occasionally. Could this be related to browser security settings, DNS resolution, or performance optimization? Please guide me on what settings I should check or change in Firefox to make this web game run smoothly.

I am able to successfully do this on other browsers such as Chrome and Edge. Why won't firefox resolve for me to login to verizon?

I am on the last public update to Windows 10 Home. I have checked that DRM is on. I have restarted Firefox, and used troubleshooting mode to verify it isn't an add-on issue. Hardware acceleration is off. Cache has been cleaned, and I have even refreshed firefox. Router and PC have been restarted. Graphic drivers have been updated. Also, videos play in Brave.

After the latest update I was met with a blank profile, no saved data, even when syncing with my Mozilla Account. I followed the back-up instructions by the support team described in the forums, but it wasn't enough. Common sites I frequent like youtube and gmail were not indexed, the passwords and logins were nowhere to be found. I really don't get what's going on, or why would the Mozilla Account wouldn't recover the data, while leaving that to profiles. Is there any way to recover it further? Or even disable profiles?

I used to be able to have all sorts of tabs open for an entire month. Now, I can't keep them open even for a day. It seems to be a problem selective to Youtube (other tabs like Yahoo Mail still work), leaving my Alienware 15R4 laptop fans running really loudly for a few days now, since updates ran (not sure if that's related), and leaving me having to shut down and reboot the browser, daily, instead of once or twice a month. Is there anyone working on getting us back the old Youtube, or replacing Youtube with something like what it used to be? I am running adblock plus and uBlock Origin, should probably turn them off to see if they're related to the problem, huh? I'd hate to start having to use a different browser.

I am switching from firefox to firefox-esr. Version 147.0.3 to 140.7.0esr, start firefox with --allow-downgrade which mostly works. What does not is the "Home default" page, it is blank and can not even be configured to what it was because the settings page is also blank, nothing below "choose what content ...".
I have done this on 4 machines now with same failure for the home page. settings. My previous workaround was new profile and import data so the setting page is therein ESR. This is a far harder than it should be there being no single export-import. I had to export import history with a third party plugin and cookies the only method [I found] was to copy the sqlite file. Others like password export-import are fragmented.

I have a profile that I had copied from my main profile, which is connected to an email and synced. This second profile is unsynced, and it won't let me sign into my account because that account is connected to the main profile. It says I need a separate account for a separate profile. Fair enough. I try to make an account. It says I cannot sign in to the new account because the profile is synced to the old one. Very annoying to be given instructions that don't work. So, I make a new profile and sign in to my new account on it. It works. But now I don't have my bookmarks and passwords. So I find instructions on backing up my account and copy my secondary profile into the new profile with the new account. It logs me out and is now giving me the same error! (the backup was successful though) I don't want to have to copy and paste all of my passwords and things into a new account. Is there any way to make my secondary profile syncable?

Example file is MP4, inside was initially h264 video with AAC audio, for test I re-encoded video to be svt-AV1 with AAC / flac as well - no difference, audio still lags behind. Local players (mpv) and Chromium works perfectly. No plugins which can affect it - for testing disabled them all. I really try hard to like Firefox but this thing is a real bummer. Any ideas what can be causing? P.S. I tested both firefox compiled from source and binary package provided by my distro. Linux system if that matters.

When Facebook creates passkey Firefox asks for an USB to be inserted. I have tried to disable USB in the settings ("security.webauth.webauthn_enable_usbtoken","false"). But then Facebook just gets into a retry loop and I can't create the passkey. I use Windows 10, and USB is NOT enabled as an authentication option. I need to fix this as Facebook nags me (in e-mail) to create a passkey.

Cookies are just gone and same with any passwords I may have saved. just seems to happen in Firefox, was never a problem before the end of last DEC.
