Last downlod of foxfire causes my PC to freeze up and takes forever to complete loading.
It works for a short period and when I go to refresh or turn a page it freezes up. I have to restart my system when this happens. Also task manager sees nothing wrong and tells me the site is running.

You can try to decrease the value of the pref network.http.max-connections from 255 to a more modest setting like 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.

Cor-el Just got thru testing the adjustment you suggested and it seems to work much better with the change of max-connections from 255 (mine was actually 256) to the setting of 30. I must thank you for replying to my message. John
