The first tab or page I open doesn't provide the website's url. I can make it appear when I click on the little icon on the left of the address bar.

This only happens with the first tab. I also can't close the first open tab. The whole thing has been behaving strangely. The refresh and back/forward buttons are unavailable too.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
