I have a program Cbsurge with xpi files it needs firefox to install it, i tried firefox 4 would not install it would ,pick it up but would not install it'help

Can you install them into Firefox 3.6.17, that you posted here with?

You can try these two methods to install them. Either should work for "local" / saved XPI files, as long they are compatible with Firefox 4.
File > Open File - or drag the XPI file into the Firefox browser window

If that doesn't do it, look in the Error Console for errors related to those specific XPI files.
