Hi, I'm currently on the 'beta' channel of firefox quantum ( Version 62.0b 16 (32-bit) ) for windows, for some reason..my login information for the lastpass password manager addon isn't saved. Everytime I open the browser I always have to re-login, when I use a different browser such as google chrome, my login information is always retained..why does this occur while using firefox ?? Thanks, David

Never use beta Browser unless your testing or developer testing.

Perhaps LastPass doesn't support pre-release beta builds of Firefox?

That would be a question for LastPass support, unless someone around here can verify if Firefox beta builds work for them.

Hi All, Of course, first of all..thanks so much for your replies, I guess the reason I decided to use the 'beta' version of firefox was due to the fact that I'm a windows 10 insider. So I'm used to trying out 'experimental' software. I would hate to switch back to the production release of the browser and get the same results. David Update: This morning I went ahead and switched back to the 'stable' version, I'll see if that makes any difference with the issue concerning lastpass 'remembering' my sign in information.

No problem. Years ago I ran the Nightly (alpha) version (which was named Minefield in those days) of Firefox so I could see the "future" version of Firefox as it was being developed. But I stopped running those builds back in 2011 close to the time that Firefox 4.0 came out; which was almost two years late in becoming released and missing many of the planned features. And I never used the Beta versions which came about around Firefox 10.

Please see LastPass support for answers, they should know if they support the Beta builds or not. My guess is that no one around here knows being that it's been 24 hours since you started this thread.
