Ctrl+i shows no password for some sites

Hello. I have had to log into a few websites more than once during a session. Ctrl+i shows that no passwords are saved for four websites. The sites which show this behaviour : this one, gmail, www.pclinuxos.com and yahoo mail.

In preferences I have selected the option "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites".

After starting in safe mode and enabling the extensions one at a time I was unable to duplicate the problem of having to log in again but ctrl+i still shows that no password is saved for those sites.

Neither plug-in seems relevant (OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc. and Shockwave Flash).
