Shows 2 unread messages, but messages not showing in inbox

Hi,

On the left hand side it shows as 2 unread emails in my inbox, however these emails do not show in my inbox.

This is causing problems, as I expect it is from a customer who has chased me asking if I received his email.

I have attached 2 screenshots - 1 showing what I am seeing, and the second showing my unread emails - there is none shown here.

I really need this sorting asap

Right click the folder and select Mark Folder Read

Hi Airmail,

Thanks for the suggestion, that has cleared them from showing as bold in my inbox, but just means the emails im supposed to have received, have not come through

No it means the display number got out of sync with reality. Now you fixed it. Have you checked your Spam folder for the missing mails?

I dont have a spam folder......

Thanks for your help with this one though, it is most appreciated

Most providers have a Spam folder on their web mail page. Check there.

I have a similar problem. I go through my mailbox reading the new messages. As I read each message, the unread message count decrements as each is read. (I have a 4 second delay set before marking a message read). When I read the last message and the font changes from BOLD (unread) to normal (read) the message count does not update. This has been going on for a few weeks now. If I click on a different folder and then back on the one with the wrong count, it changes to show no unread messages.
