When I try to sign in I am told I have no account. Try to created an account I'm blocked because my email address is in use.

I am about ready to dump my operating system for one that work with chrome. It is ridiculous and stupid, coders sniffing glue for 40 years? that we can both have an account and NOT have an account simultaneously. This defies logic. Must be the brainchild of a trump supporter

What are you trying to sign into?

I'm sorry, I'd thought I'd replied, from my phone. I need to change that app.

Signing into Firefox, or Mozilla, whichever has Sync. A couple weeks ago it happened, but thought I'd created an account. When it didn't go through I realized that I'd signed up for a support account, obviously it works for support, but then I was into the firefox account and was able to sync. I blew out my root file system, just got reinstalled and wanted to sync my bookmarks. I kind of like how you can get on any machine and feel at home.

Can all the old info: email, username, personal name be erased from the servers, if so I can just sign up again

Unfortunately you can't delete a Firefox account unless you can log into it. If you are willing to lose the data in the account, you can reset the password. See: I've lost my Firefox Sync account information - What to do.
