T-Bird is slow to start after "upgrade" to Windows 10, Version 1607, OS Build 14393.82. Is a T-Bird "update" available?

T-Bird start up is VERY slow after an "upgrade" to Windows 10, Version 1607, OS Build 14393.82. Windows comes back with "Long running script." and the option to continue or stop. If I continue, T-Bird seems OK. Why so long to start?

We are having rather a lot of complaints about slowness and pretty much always in connection with Windows 10.

Matt posted something about power management that may be relevant.

For myself, I have had "freezing" in both Thunderbird and Firefox in v47, but this is in Windows 7. This seems to have been remedied by going back to 45. So I'm suspicious of the version of Gecko being used in v47, but I imagine you'll be on 45 in Thunderbird, as 47 is a beta version and not on general release.

So; two different issues? TB 47 and Windows 10?
