How do I delete a email provider.
Since Thunderbird will not let me change things in the settings, I would like to delete one of the email providers I have. But I cannot find anyway to do that either. Thunderbird is not very easy to use either.

Right click the account on the left in the folder pane. Select Settings. Select the account to delete. At the very bottom is Account Actions. Remove Account is there.
Removing an account will make the messages for that account disappear. Move any messages for that account that you want to keep into a folder under Local Folders before removing the account.

Thank you Airmail for your reply and information. Thunderbird is not a very easy program to use. If the email account is a major one, that work find. Get one like mail.3dcartstores.com, Thunderbird cannot handle it. Nor will it allow a person to change things easily.
