I recently updated from windows 7 to 10. The Thunder bird menu bar font is white and hard to see. How can I change it to black

I changed the theme to the MS Office 2003. It made Firefox look better but, didn't seem to work for Thunderbird. Still need help

Thanks. Jim B.

I suggest you try another theme, specifically in Windows 10 as the menu bar fonts and colors are derived from the Windows theme.

However other complete themes might also help.

Thanks Matt. I struggled with a number of themes and settled on one. I'd like to change the background color but there only seems to be a limited selection to choose from. With windows 7 you could select a color then had the ability to change the hue and saturation of it. I tried to find a similar adjustment in windows 10 but had no luck. Maybe you can point me in the right direction...

I am not a windows 10 user, I am concerned advertising driven operating system is where we are going with it.

Thanks for the interesting link. When I get some time, I'll look into it

I also have the same problem

I tried to change the font color using the link below but was unable to change the font in the Menu Bar. It appears that the Thunder Program will have to make the fix.

Windows 10 professional. Snapped just now. I upgraded in the time this thread has been open.

See the black text? I did not Photoshop it.

The instructions say simply open the Settings app, navigate to Personalization > Colors, and activate the “Show color on Start, taskbar, action center, and title bar” option. You can also choose the color you want to use from the Colors screen.

Did you also do the last sentence and choose a colour?

Matt, I believe that I did all of the steps. I changed the color settings to red. I have attached three .JPG files which shows the settings I made in Windows and the result of those changes in Thunderbird software. Please tell me where I went wrong.

I still have white on the start menu. and I have select a contrasting colour set to on.
