Thunderbird v31 on a WindowsXP computer runs fine and has done so for years (and so does upgrade to v38). I am trying to install Thunderbird on another Windows7 computer and access the same email provider which is HOVER at mail.hover.com. I have entered identical data in account set up, name, email address, etc, the boxes are identical (double checked). But it is trying to access pat@toms.org@mail.hover.com (garbage) and of course fails. It links my email address to the server. Why is the installation on Win7 computer not behaving like that on the WinXP computer? Can i access my emails from two different computers? Thanks for any responses. Pat
