since my update this week my email doesn't come in, just turns and turns that it's thinking, and says it can't save sent in sent folder. Nothing changed here

Please chexck you anti-virus/firewall product.

It might have got confused and thinks the updated version is some new product.

Thunderbird needs to be Allowed. I use Norton and on one occassion, it had to close Thunderbird. Then access norton and locate Thunderbird, set it block and then reset ot 'Allow. Started up TB and it worked.
