everything is grey. for example this website (bobandgeorge.com should look like this ( imgur.com/JYS15eY ) but instead looks like this ( http://imgur.com/ccPwRt1 ). this is affecting all websites and to make matters worse firefox is suddenly expanding text links and making them bold and blurring them ( http://imgur.com/Br0na7a ) when they should be just a different color ( http://imgur.com/SxvkqMH ) like in the example of how the website should look. i wish to undo both of these things.

i have already attempted the following. firefox safemode, cleared cache, bypass cache, 2 virus scans, using a different browser(which loading them fine), disabling all adons, reseting page style, checked java, and searched the forums for similar issues.

sorry for the imgur links but whatever is causing this is also preventing me from using the upload image below this details text box.

Use this link to check that your plugins are up-to-date. If any are listed as unknown or research, do not worry about them.

Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : "Override the colors specified by the page with my selections above"

Try "Never" if the default "Only with High Contrast themes" isn't working.

This setting affects background images.
