My Tbird 38.3.0 just suddenly dhowed 72 new "unread" emails from 2 years ago, many are just duplicates. What Happened? I have 2 screenshots.

Have had problem since "updating to Windows 10 from 8.1: When I am in Firefox it will flip over to Thunderbird or vice versa. Now this morning it did this.
