I am using 86.0.0 on W10. How do I get rid of automatic updates ? [without digging registry, policies JSON files, and bowels]

Why isn't it possible to do that from Menu->Options ?

Hey, There actually is a straight forward option that lets you choose whether to install updates or not. Go to Menu->Options->General, scroll down and you will see an Updates section where you can choose to install updates.
