I tried the v37 upgrade which was a disaster for me, and I'd like to avoid it for the time being. After cleaning up the mess, I'm back at v30. Can I upgrade to v36 instead of v37?

What problems do you have with the current Firefox 37.0.2 release?

Note that the Firefox 36.0.4 release has known and disclosed security vulnerabilities.

You can find that version here if you insist:

v37 installs two versions of Firefox, one is v37 and the other is v37 Developers Edition. The result is _TWO_ firefox.exe files in different system folders which confuses the heck out of Windows. It also brings along something called "Synch" which tries to tie it all together with my cell phone, etc. None of this mess is wanted, especially after all the normal FF usefulness is obliterated. Even bookmarks are erased, passwords and add-ons gone. I use Notepad++ in my daily work and its functionality was hit bad by FF37, too. I need to get back to a stable FF while I try to figure out what FF was trying to do. I can't afford to have my daily tools bunged up like this. Thanks!
