Once my domain expires will i still be able to access my old emails on thunderbird
My domain is due to expire, i am no longer trading. However, i may wish to recall old emails for invoices/records/orders/info etc etc. Will i be able to access these once the domain has expired?

First you have to download everything from your server Exporting a full folder will contain all your (local) settings, adress-book, etc as well as your mails, with attachments as long as you haven't move them elsewhere. Perfect to install if things go wrong.
If its a IMAP-account please move all your mail to Local folders. As we don't know if you have them downloaded to your pc or just viewing headers.
If it's a pop account, your only worry would be if your mail are still on server. Even then I would move them to local folders
And you dont have to use the addon on full profile, You can export a folder and its subfolder as mboxes, thats the nativ TB-format. It's files without extension, .msd is directory and .msf is index

YES If you download and put them in local folders. You can export them in many different formats. Esp. if you use an add-on like ImportExportTools

Thank you so much for replying, and for supplying a link to the ImportExportTools.
If possible, please advise me further.
I would like to save everything so that i can access it once my domain runs out (tomorrow).
I went to: Tools ---> ImportExportTools ---> Export Profile
It seems to be 'downloading' and in the download folder there are many files and folders. The folder ---> mail.gandi.net lists the folders as they appear on Thunderbird, the files are in MSF File formats. Is this downloading all the mail which will allow me to access via Thunderbird in the future or do i need to do something else?
Sorry i am a novice. Thank you for your patience.
