Go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins

During installation of softwares there are some hidden aspects,and they install toolbar and search engines without your permmision for that particular software. So you can remove this by taking this step : For Windows: Go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins Each search engine has two files; a''' .src''' and either a '''.png or a .gif '''file.
