I have NEVER set a Master or SSD password, yet I need it to turn it off or change it (?), how can I get this aggravating thing to go away? Or find out this mystery password? And turn it off? Dave [removed personal info] Thank you.

If you've somehow had a master password set in Firefox and you don't know that password, the only thing to do is to reset it (which removes all of your saved usernames and passwords). This article has the details - Reset your Primary Password if you've forgotten it
