I just installed a new Norton Anti Virus and all my screen icons change magically to IE links. None of my usual signon screens are displaying. And IE doesn't know my login or passwords. How do I get back to Firefox without uninstalling Norton?

Is it that the icons changed, or the default browser?

Open Windows Internet Explorer. Have it declared as the default browser, But turn off the option to check this when the browser opens (If you want).

Now do the same thing using Firefox.

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.
