I have Mozilla 39.0 for Mac, the "waiting" ball keeps turning...
There is no rhyme nor reason for this to happen... But it has gotten so annoying I am using another browser, PLEASE HELP! I took 3 screen shots but the cursor with the spinning ball does not show up in the shots.
Firefox 39.0 Macintosh MacBook Pro (current OS 10.9.5
What I have done so far I've emptied the cache Refreshed Firefox I've started in safe mode Restarted the computer Closed all windows restarted Firefox
Thank you

Please re-post those screenshots using the Browse button above the Post Reply button. Sorry. There seems to be a gremlin floating around here that prevents multiple screenshot postings in the initial questions posting.
I was trying to upload ONE screenshot, but it did NOT matter because, AS I SAID in my original post, the screenshot did not show the salient information: the cursor with the spinning ball does NOT show up in the screen shot.
I know quite a few people are having this problem (I am a computer consultant). I like Firefox and would like to start using it again, so a solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated.
In the meantime, back to the other browser unfortunately.
Modified
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
