Firefox on my new computer doesn't remember my bookmarks from old crashed computer.
I don't have access to my computer that had all my Firefox bookmarks. I thought Firefox would remember them, but nope. I am really screwed.

Oh sorry. I think their is no other way to recover it.
Firefox doesn't remember bookmarks and other personal data in the Firefox profile folder across other computers or Firefox installations. You can use Sync to synchronize some data.
It is best to backup your personal data to prevent such dataloss.
In some cases it is possible to remove the hard drive from the computer and build the hard drive into an external enclosure that you can connect via a USB port to your current computer.
