What are your current font settings?

Do you have the Verdana font installed?

You can find the font setting in: Edit > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced

Fonts for   : Western
Proportional: Serif (16)
Serif       : Times New Roman

I'm using FreeSans, size 16. I tried Verdana but it is worse. Allowing sites to use their own fonts also makes it worse.

What I've noticed is that if I make the cursor hover over a line which has been cut, it then appears correctly.

I looks that the whole line doesn't fit in the container, so the bottom part is cut off. The usual cause is that a font is used that takes more vertical space, so any increase or changes from the font in what the website prescribes can cause this issue. I've seen web pages that were even affected by changing the minimum font size from none to 1 (!). If you do not have the font installed that the website specifies then Firefox will fallback to another (default) font that may have different dimensions.

Ah - that gave me a clue. I had the minimum font size set to 16. Changing it to a lower value, e.g. 12, has solved the problem. Many thanks for the pointer.

This is certainly the answer as regards Statcounter. I still have different font problems on other sites, where the text can overflow from its correct column into adjacent ones, but at least Statcounter is now correct.
