Hi, Whenever I search something on google and then click into a website, something weird happens: In my search history, not only is there the actual website I visit, but also an additional google url (very long with no website name) I have no extension installed Has anyone encountered the same issue? Thanks!!

Currently on macOS Firefox 117.0.1 and in the last week I noticed I can't authenticate with my Yubikey anymore. The browser will prompt for the key ("touch your security key", etc.). While the prompt will go away after I activate my key, the browser window won't advance past the authentication page. Short story-- I haven't been able to use my Yubikey for any site recently.

So over this. Have been using FF for decades. Why FF does now randomly forget my previous session. Works fine for momths and then suddenly all previous session tabs are gone and recently closed windows loads a blank tab.

And yes, we have tried all the supposed fixes.

I have used Firefox on a 27" MAC for many many years. In fact I have used Firefox on many macs since Firefox was first offered. As of the last update or browser upgrade offered by Mozilla for Firefox for Apple desktops, most all streaming video service no longer work. YouTube, Amazon Prime, and Netflix all stall after a minute or less of selecting a video from the above vendors. I get the little spinning arrow, and then a screen message that states that my ISP is not providing me with enough bandwidth to stream video. Absolute nonsense. Using Safari I have absolutely no issues, problems, stalls, buffering, error messages etc., and the experience is what I used to get from Firefox. I have lots of bandwidth available, and have had a professional network engineering service provider check my internet connection. Even if I make sure no other tabs, applications or other iterations are running, ONLY Firefox, it stalls and will not play video. Then I get another screen message that states that "maybe if you restart your device you may be able to play video". While I realize that Firefox is free, I still think I should have a reasonable expectation that it will continue to provide buffer, stall, and hang free performance when I want to watch YouTube, Amazon Prime and or Netflix.

I have been using (VIEWING articles in // saving articles TO my) FIREFOX "POCKET" for more than a year.

I have the pocket ICON on my upper toolbar. But ALL that seems to do is allow me to ADD an open page TO Pocket. I have NO clue how to simply **Go t o POCKET** and VIEW any / all my saved items there.

Good God, WHAT is the secret handshake??! ...in trying to figure this out I see numerous things telling me to SIGN IN to pocket ... IF way back when I began using pocket I MADE a USER NAME / Password for it, that info is long forgotten. I HAVE a FIREFOX account ... was sent therewhile supposedly (according to Firefox" HELP") to 'sign in' to my POCKET account. Only took me to an overall FIREFOX account page - wherein NO LONK there referred AT ALL to POCKET.

I 'SAVE' to my pocket (ICON) almost daily. NEVER need any kind of sign in for this. NOW I want to LOOK AT / READ some of these - BUT FIND NOWAY TO GET THERE. ICON omly SAVES a page.

Ridiculous. HOW do I VIEW / SEE / FIND /READ my saved pocket items?

I have attached a screen shot of a paypal page I went to order tickets from a link on a website (https://Musicincontext.org) that is illegible. this only happens in firefox.

I have used Firefox for a long time, and it is the browser I prefer. Unfortunately over the last 6 months I am increasing having problems opening up webpages I normally view on Firefox! When I switch over to Google Chrome (NOT my preference!) those same pages open with no problems! What's up with this?

i removed it with help with css years ago, but whatever it was no longer works. and ive been patiently waiting noone on any other site can help

or it maybe possibly some animation that could be removed in about:config

I was in italy when I first created my firefox account and by default it choose italian as language. All of my search results are in italian even though in browser settings I choose English as preffered language. Now I discovered that actually my firefox profile is in italian that's why I see results in italian. In the profile settings (https://accounts.firefox.com/settings), there is no option to change the language. Please help.

Firefox for MacOS will not accept my new Primary Password - the exact same password that Firefox on my iPhone & iPad did accept! Firefox for MacOS keeps telling me the password is incorrect. I am using MacOS Ventura 13.5.2 & Firefox 117.0.1 (64-bit).

Hello. I have been having problems in Firefox recently, which I think may have started since recent updates.

First problem: I use Mullvad VPN and now pages won't load...the browser seems to get stuck, especially when I google things but also when I put in actual URLs. Mullvad support says that something is trying to set the DNS and this is interfering with the VPN but I don't know what this could be. I checked the DNS setting in Firefox and it says it is turned off. I am having no problem like this when I use Safari.

Second problem, which may or may not be related: a teaching interface that I have used for many years, now suddenly won't let me drag and drop files into it or do other routine manipulations. Again, I am having no problems on Safari.

I'm very comfortable but no computer expert so please advise in very user friendly terms. Thank you!

I encountered a Problem since the last update. When watching a Video on Youtube, the Playback is flashing, especially on green and red colors. I did see some People mention a similar issue years ago, so I followed the same troubleshooting by disabling Hardware acceleration and all extension. The Issue keeps persisting I am browsing on a M1 Macbook Air - no other Browser on my System has that issue. Here is an example with Screengrab https://imgur.com/a/EFrzzAD

I have always had the default settings when it came to the color of unvisited links (blue) and visisted links (purple) but now every single link appears purple regardless of what color I change either of them to. I have cleared my history, turned off all extensions, and reinstalled firefox but I am still having the issue.

Copy and Paste does not work in Outlook using the mouse. I have to copy and the go to edit and paste from there. This is new problem. I opened safari and the function works with that browser but I like Firefox. please give me a fix.

I have read many threads with the same issue and concerned that this is a Firefox issue that is intentionally being ignored (especially Sue's post from 2022 which was never responded to and was archived by Mozilla). It's also very inconvenient that I cannot chat or speak with an agent about this problem. We will be moving our office away from Firefox if this is not addressed promptly.

I and a number of colleagues are experiencing the same issue - we have only a few tabs open and get error messages from our Macbooks that we have run out of application memory. We have tried all of the recommended fixes (clear tabs, update versions, restart, etc etc) and nothing is working. It seems that I can have 50 tabs open and not get the error message that Firefox would send me with 5 tabs open.

Please let me know how to fix this problem ASAP

I have had Firefox for three days now, and I was trying to watch some videos on Netflix, but I got this error that the DRM was not installed. I did not have any plugins installed or VPN on either. I was looking for steps to solve this but came to a dead end. I tried looking into the console, and it gave me errors with turning off/on the DRM. I would like to get some help with this.

I have downloaded Firefox 117. I am currently on Firefox 102.15. So I want to transfer my bookmarks to the new version, as well as some recent history. I am unable to find these files to import when using Firefox 117. Also I says that version 102.15 is the most up to date version of Firefox. So this is confusing.
