Hmm, what am I missing. That page has links to the individual forum for each product, for example, Firefox, Firefox for Android, Thunderbird, etc. Click on the product you want to see questions about.

Sorry to hear about the crashes. If you are getting the Mozilla Crash Reporter form, your Firefox may have logged some data that would help track down the cause of the problem. You can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "Firefox crashes - asking for support" for steps to get those crash report IDs from the about:crashes page, and then post some of the recent ones here.

Also and/or meanwhile, could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? That temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features of Firefox that might make it more prone to crashing on some systems.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Any less crashy?

not getting anything in regard to crash reports. Just freeses and can turn off pc the proper way. I am not using it atm because I dont have the time to keep losing 10 minutes while iturn off and it reloads. It effects my AVG security and i have to wait till that updates again if I dont turn off pc in the normal way. this also effects Yahoo messenger.

When you get things sorted out, I'm pretty sure this is the link you want. Bookmark it. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/firefox?show=all To see your contributions list you will need to sign in and look for "My Contributions" on the right hand side of the page.

No help at all. I want to know why it is crashing

Well, you said it's not crashing, it's freezing. When Firefox freezes, there's no data captured on what's going on because... it's frozen.

Did you try Firefox's Safe Mode? Did that make any difference?

Could you check out this article: Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix.

i dont know the difference betwen freezing and crashing. i triad to go back to it today and went to cricket australia and it just stopped working after pressing a few time the mouse wouldnt even move. I then had to manually turn it off and start all over again.

please continue at your original thread at https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1113763 and don't create new topics about the same issue, as this will make it more difficult to help. thank you for your understanding!

I have unlocked this thread,

This is the 3rd of three new threads about the same thing and this one has the most information out of the three. 1. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1113763 - locked 2. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1113764 - locked 3. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1113852 - this thread

Did you try Firefox's Safe Mode?

Note: if Firefox freezes for over a minute, try using the Windows Task Manager to "kill" it instead of shutting off your computer. That should cause less file damage.

To launch the Windows Task Manager, you can press Ctrl+Shift+Esc (all together) on the keyboard.

Then select Firefox on the Applications tab and click End Task. if that doesn't work, click the Processes tab, select firefox.exe, and click End Process.

That does not work. Nothing on the keyboard works unless mabee I hold the keys down for a while i dont know. BTW I just finished a disc cleanup and a malbytes scan. Will try mozilla again soon
