I'm on the latest firefox version 151.0.4 and having issues with the built in free VPN. It's showing up in the settings but I don't have the icon in the tool bar to adjust it or do anything. It's definitely enabled because it shows the settings and 50gb remaining of data. I've tried doing the about:config setting for enabling protection as well but that was already set to true. I toggled that and restarted my browser and firefox but neither worked.

I have had FF VPN for 2 days Pages load incredibly slowly Videos do not load at all

Do other people have experience with this?

I am no longer using the VPN

At the last FF update, I discovered that I had VPN on my top status bar but what does it do?

I have v. 150.0.1 (64 bit). Also Windows 11. I live in France and the only reason to use a VPN is to watch a UK soap which I cannot watch by any other means unless it's live on the TV. I know how to turn it on (obvious), so when I use the BBC website, this is what I do. But it makes not the slightest bit of difference as I am still recognised as being outside the UK.

Am I not doing something please?

I was trying to get rid of the cache of things slowing my mac laptop down. During this I turned on the VPN which said choose a country...i chose canada. now everything i do has canada on it. my searches that used to be for australia are all in cnada, my imgae on the internet has been replaced by a canadian, my weather wont let me look up St Kilda, Victoria Australia...it just takes me straight to toronto. This is a nightmare and making my searches mind blowingly long and stupid. how can i get rid of canada from my system!! please. i am desperate

Hello Im having trouble getting the free vpn showing I tried resting the toolbar and restarting firefox and reinstalling. I dont see it on the toolbar or custom toolbar to drag and drop. Thanks Mike

I have installed Firefox's free VPN. It shows in the toolbar, as a grey X and a grey "VPN". When I click that, I receive a series of promising, colorful dialog boxes that ultimately change nothing. I can only click the grey VPN and run through the same cycle again with the same results (opening yet a new tab). I have looked in Extensions and Themes > Manage Your Extensions, and can't find the VPN. How do I turn it on?

The VPN is supposed to show in another country, but the website in question does not recognise it is in that country. (BBC iplayer) BBC.co.uk works as it is thinks it is in the UK, but the iplayer does not.

I understand that VPN was progressive roll out, but I have been able to successfully use it for the last two months. Today I upgraded to version 151.0.4 and the VPN icon was no longer up in the toolbar. I thought maybe I did something wrong and went back to customize and put it back on, but it's just not there anymore.

Did you decide to roll it back without warning?

Hello Everyone,

I now do have the VPN button on my toolbar but when I click on "Turn On VPN" nothing happens. I am logged in in my Firefox profile through the VPN settings under Privacy and Security.

I am on Mac OS 15.7.7, Firefox 151.0.1.

Why am I not able to turn on the VPN?

I cannot get the free VPN to turn on. It keeps looping me back to sign in and then tells me to turn it on and then it loops back to the sign in and continues to loop
