firefox and MS bing have started frequently asking again and again if I want to make either one my default browser. Several time I chose firefox and yet I get asked within a week or so. Looks like microsoft is removing firefox from being my default browser and I get asked again! Also, this recent frequent back and forth is irritating.

Mozilla is the only search engine that recently has started to display pages and Ads in German. For years it was in English which is selected as the only preferred language in the settings, so its a very recent language phenomenon. What is wrong? It has started a couple months ago and I have been unable to get rid of this problem even by re-installing the browser.

updated to latest firefox 136.0.1 today and several web pages will not load on first attempt. yahoo.com, google along others indicate that page is preventing this site from loading. I have not encountered any issue with Chrome. Have not encountered this issue with firefox previously but very frustrated user. I any attempted to start firefox in debug mode without any extensions or tools and firefox still encountered the same issue. Any recommendation would be appreciated.

Why am I always getting this error message: Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at www.mozilla.org.

   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)                              I use an Android laptop with Windows 11

Seit Wochen verlangt die Zeitung bestimmte Einstellungen. Diese Einstellungen sind mir unbekannt/kann ich in den Hilfsthemen nicht finden. Es gelingt mir dadurch nicht, die Inhalte der Zeitung vollständig abzurufen; dies lief bis vor kurzem jedoch einwandfrei.

I'm working on a Firefox extension where I need to detect print event. I've tried the following approaches:

• beforeprint – Fires immediately when the print dialog opens (works correctly in Chrome).
• afterprint – Fires immediately when the dialog closes (works correctly in Chrome).
• window.focus and visibilitychange – Work inconsistently with noticeable delay, depending on how Firefox handles focus/visibility updates after closing the dialog.

Questions: 1. Is there a reliable way in Firefox to detect print event? 2. Are there any known workarounds or events that could be used for this purpose?

When browse some websites in Android Firefox app, some website can't browse normally. I mean, the loading speed is too low to not open some websites. And some webpage were reported to wrong information.

I can't browse them, but use Chorme app can easily browse. Maybe something was lacked.
