while browsing, it keeps stopping all the time. after entering a site it slow down. crashes the site. but the features are good. I enjoyed the features. please fix the errors on android app.

I am experiencing an issue with Firefox on my Poco X7 Pro (HyperOS). Pages in tabs automatically reload when returning to the app after switching away, even after only ~1 minute. This happens despite all of the following:

- Battery optimization disabled (No restrictions) - Background activity allowed - App Lock enabled in Recent Apps - Tabs → Close inactive tabs = Never - Delete browsing data on quit = Off - Developer options → Background process limit = No limit - RAM Plus active (~12GB available)

In comparison, Chromium-based browsers like Vivaldi maintain tabs for hours on the same device without reload.

• • Device:** Poco X7 Pro
  • OS:** HyperOS (please add exact version / Build number)
  • Firefox version:** (147.0.3, e.g., 125.0.1)
  • RAM:** 12GB RAM plus active

• • Steps to reproduce:**

1. Open Firefox and navigate to any web page. 2. Switch to another app or go to Home. 3. Wait approximately 1 minute. 4. Return to Firefox. 5. Observe that the page reloads and previous state (scroll position, forms, media) is lost.

• • Expected behavior:** Tabs should retain their state unless the system completely kills the Firefox process.

• • Actual behavior:** Pages reload automatically, even when the process is still in memory.

• • Logs / Attachments:**

- adb logcat / bugreport (firefox_reload_log.txt or bugreport.zip) - Optional screen recording demonstrating the issue - Timestamps of occurrence for reference

Could you please advise if there is a recommended configuration for HyperOS/Poco devices, or if a workaround exists to improve tab persistence for Firefox (Gecko engine) under aggressive memory management?

I did get the update to 148 today, and the new toolbar is very uncomfortable to use. I dislike the new look aswell as it is quite ugly. And i hope there is a setting to get the old toolbar back as i find the new toolbar worse in all aspects. For example that it is now at a different position and that the "quick menu" blocks the actual taskbar. Then the quickmenu is far to big to be usable with one finger especially if you don't want to use one of the first layer options. Then it is not anymore possible to fit everything one one screen with the smallest size of text and the least zoom on my phone. The menu is ugly aswell with everything being inconsistent but that new style is anyway bad. So how to get it away? Is there are hidden setting somewhere with that i can change it or did i just look over it? Do I have to use a old version? Would it be possible in the future to add the option to stay on the old design?

Since the last update to version 148.0 on Android, it's no longer possible to send tabs between devices (reliably). When I try to send a tab from my android phone to my laptop, it says that it's unable to send. However, after a while it appears on my laptop anyways after a long delay, but not always. It works in the other direction, but the checkmark that usually appears does not show up, and there's also a time delay, but not as severe as in the other direction.

I've been using Firefox on Android for a couple of years. I love the way it collapses open tabs that have not been accessed for a while. I had maybe 40 of them that I refer back to from time to time.

Last night I opened Firefox to look something up and I had zero open tabs. I did nothing, nothing crashed, no error messages, no upgrades (that I'm aware of), nothing - just two years of collected reference material gone.

I use my Mozilla account to sync to my desktop browser (version 147.0.4 on Debian 13.3) and they're gone from there too.

Is there any chance I can get them back?

I am trying to setup a new phone to use the same account as an older one. I would like to be able to use either of them interchangeably. When I go to accounts.firefox.com aon the new phone and put in my email and password, the result is "incorrect password". I have checked, double-checked and triple-checked the details and they are correct. Old phone is a Pixel 7 pro and new one is Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

I am looking for a web browser I can use to manage my company on and I don't know much technology or cyber security and I am anticipating opening my card and collectibles shop within a few months and it took alot to get this far so I don't want to make any decisions that will create any kind of complications with my business. I am looking for one secure browser to use exclusively for my company I already told you it is a card and collectible shop but I will sell online hopefully. So my question is is there anything that I should know about vulnerabilities that could potentially be used to exploit my business

Although Firefox for Android has support for PWA websites in general,I see that it doesn't detect all pwa websites and creates a simple shortcut instead! For example go to mytuner-radio.com and try to install it as a Pwa, it just creates a shortcut!

If you try this on other browsers like Vivaldi for Android, it installs it as an app, without the need to open the whole browser alongside all the tabs,every time you tap on its icon !

Please fix this and make all sites that support pwa detectable !

If I'm on a website and let's say I'm reading an article and I'm midway, if I switch to another app momentarily for a few seconds (eg go to a messenger app to send a quick message) most of the time when I get back to Firefox it seems to reload the app and refreshes the page. This makes me lose my scroll position and progress. This doesn't happen on other browsers like Vivaldi,it feels like aggressive memory management. Please fix this if possible because I don't think it's my phone's issue , I have a Xiaomi 14 Ultra with 16gb of ram and Android 16 (latest hyper os 3.0.3)!

I'm signed in to Firefox on mobile because I want to access my desktop bookmarks, history etc on mobile. But whenever I bookmark a page on mobile it automatically saves to whatever folder I last used on desktop. But I don't want them saved to my desktop bookmarks at all. I don't know how to move them to mobile only and how to stop them from saving into my desktop folders.

The old menu is more user friendly and everything shows up. Unlike the new menu where you have to search for stuff. Please incorporate an option to choose between menus.

I want it back on top not like it is in the screenshot, how do I get it back the way it was. why do you keep changing things not everybody wants to change and then you just change it for everyone without even giving the option to not change it it's ridiculous. If I can't move it back I'll be switching browsers.

When using the search assist, which I do a lot, and then use the "more" button as it's loading more and I am reading through a window pops up and auto scrolls down to the new text box that asks for further questions. I do not see the point in this at all and find it very tedious, is there anyway to stop this?

Android - No YouTube comments. Tried clearing cache Even without signing in with Google account still no comments Tried deleting Firefox and installed it again fresh, no extensions, no change in settings. Still no comments Also the comments appear when watching shorts, only normal videos are affected

Hello, I changed the app icon and now I have two 2 Firefox icons (default + retro 2024) and there's no way to remove either except by uninstall, I tried other icons and the same issue persists... As far as I know when an app has the option it's the original app icon that changes instead of creating another one so, is this intended or a bug? I'm on A11 if that helps.
