XML search results from the SEC EDGAR database appear to display now as flat text files under Firefox 153 instead of the SEC's beautifully formatted XML page display.

As a flat text files these are very hard to read.

Also when saving these files for processing, the save name is now "browse-edgar.html" when before it was "SEC.gov _ EDGAR Search Results.html"

Note also that when saving an html file the extention is intermittently .htm instead of .html.

When saving "DOM source of selection.html" as "text files" the extension will change to .txt instead of .html as it was earlier. When I save them a second time the extension will be corrected to .html as it was before. I have to catch these now or my Matlab code won't recognize the files in my download folder. I'm not sure which extension is correct.

Hi. I'm taking an online course for HVAC certification. Some test questions require to arrange the answers in a logic sequence. When I try to move the answers up or down, they 'snap back' into the original (wrong) position. Is there a solution to this issue? I'm using FireFox with Linux Mint Cinnamon.

When going into Amazon.com on Firefox and navigating to my purchased videos screen (prime video streaming), even before selecting a particular video to stream, the monitor (Samsung LS32B30) starts flickering. As per suggestion, unchecked "Use Recommended Performance Setting' but the monitor is still flickering.

How do I resolve scrolling issues (unable to scroll) on many websites. AI recommendations of clearing browsing history and cache have not been effective. Scrolling is possible using Google Chrome.

Hello, First of all, sorry for my bad english. I'm not a native speaker. I'm running Firefox 153.0 on a W11 PC. I recently encountered some problems when signing into Microsoft.com.

In order to sign in, I need to enter my email adress (duh) and my password before proceeding with 2FA. However, when I submit my password, the login page immediatly sends this error message : Password sign-in isn’t available. Try another method.

I first thought my credentials were wrong. This is not the case since I managed to log in with another browser (Edge, to be more specific). The same message appears whether the password is correct or not. In other words, Microsoft doesn't even bother to check if credentials info are correct.

I encounter the same problem with other Microsoft accounts. I tried to log in with 2 other machines (also running Firefox 153.0) on two different networks with different IPs, and the issue persists. However, when trying to log in from another browser or using a Firefox private window, everything works like a charm.

The problem then seems to come from the " classic " Firefox browsing. Here's what I tried :

• Closing and reopening Firefox and restarting Windows (well, you never know, it could be useful) ;
• Completely clearing cache and browsing data ;
• Completely uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox (so add-ons are not a problem here, and I'm only using uBlock) ;

The issue persists. I'm quite at a loss here.

I regularily log in to my Microsoft account and this issue first occured since the 153.0 update. Any idea ?

I'm not the only one with this problem, at least one other person encountered this issue, confer this reddit post (which is not mine, however I'm one of the commenters).

My bank's online bill-pay option suddenly stopped working (after years of no problems). The bank's help desk said that many Firefox users are having the same problem after a recent Firefox update. So I had to switch to a different browser to pay my rent. PLease provide a fix. Thanks.

Hi Team, Firefox on macOS 26.5.2 (not since this version), I use Firefox lates version but it be judged as old version and I always get the messages on Gmail, "このブラウザ バージョンのサポートは終了しました。サポートされているブラウザにアップグレードしてください。", on Facebook "このブラウザーはサポートされなくなりました。快適にご利用いただくため、新しいバージョンにアップデートしてください。" on Instagram "Your browser is no longer supported Please update to a newer version for the best experience", (Sorry, I use in Japanese). And I cannot watch Netflix on Firefox. Why?I'd like to know the reason of this issue, and could you kindly improve that it work normally on macOS? Thank you.

hi; when accessing AOL or Yahoo mailboxes from Firefox. I normally write email/reply & edit before sending. for example highlighting or making some letters bigger./bold/diff colour for emphasis. Since ~ 1month ago this has stopped. i msut now copy to word doc/ edit, then copy & paste back into email then send. When using Opera or edge it is ok. why was this done??? no reason i can see Also if i access my yahoo email box from edge that also works perfectly you dont need any screenshots as issue is explained. maybe it is some kind of conflicting setting in firefox?

Firefox 153.0 , Windows 10 pro ESU. Waze no longer dislpays traffic information on their map web page. Tried alot of things to fix this issue including safe mode, disable enhanced tracking, disable hardware acceleration, webgl settings. Sometimes but not always I can get it to work if I clear waze cookies and browser cache, but not always.

Had been able to use bill pay for my checking account on my Mac desktop. Now when I hit submit and pay it doesn’t do anything. I’ve been told it’s my browser. Please advise.

Using iMac with M3 chip. Latest system software: Version 26.5.2 (25F84). On latest Firefox update.

I am no longer able to log in to my bank using the Firefox browser, BUT am able to log in using the Apple environment...ie Safari, and iOS. I'm a longtime customer/consumer of both Firefox and the bank, and this is the first time I've been unable to log in. I prefer Firefox over Safari, but my bank was recommending that I use another browser...like Safari, Chrome...etc. What do you think is the reason for what I would assume is a software compatibility issue? This was the message left on the screen: "Requested URL was rejected."

Any help would be nice to keep me from using Safari...

When accessing my Yahoo account within Firefox v153, under Yahoo's Current sign-ins my current device (My PC) shows as "Unrecognized". Yet when I sign in to the same Yahoo account using Chrome my current Device (same PC) shows as "Trusted". Since there's no Yahoo help (I've exhausted all articles and that AI Chat bot) this is boils down to a Firefox issue. Images attached.

Hello Firefox Support, I need your help with a problem in Mozilla Firefox. I play Zynga Poker on my laptop. Firefox is much faster than other browsers on my computer, but Zynga Poker does not load. It only displays the message "Sorry, reload." Reloading the page does not solve the problem. The game works in Google Chrome, but Chrome is extremely slow, making it difficult to play. Could you please help me find out why Zynga Poker does not work correctly in Firefox and how I can fix this issue? Thank you for your time and support. Kind regards

when i use Chrome or edge to access yahoo email I can write & edit. when using Firefox browser; I cannot write & edit/highlight/change text colours etc before sending. tried deleteing & re-installing Firefox . please help. Driving me crazy rsvp

(Sorry both the above examples need accounts to test). Often (not always) if I open the page with Chrome it works. I think they were working ok after macOS update but after a Firefox update went to a very light screen - problem started then.

Also - using about:support the copy raw data button works; the copy text button does not.

A website I user, www.advisor.ca, displays a banner across the top which obscures some of the text in Firefox but displays correctly in Chrome. The attached images are for the page https://www.advisor.ca/tax/tax-news/court-dismisses-challenge-to-cras-administration-of-cap-gains-tax-proposal/. I expect this is one of those things that Chrome does 'wrong' but I would like to know if there is something I can do to make it display correctly in Firefox, of if FF could handle it in some manner.

I just switched to firefox from edge, and so far I really like it, but I got an issue with scrolling through youtube home page, it's laggy, and the lag is present 95% of the time. This is not happening in Edge or Chrome. This might be subtle to people using 60hz screens but for me it's noticeable and annoying, its as if the FPS drops from my set 144 to 30 or something. Is there a way to fix this? I really want to keep using Firefox :(

Hi everyone! I have a couple issues that I'm encountering for an otherwise solid experience.

1. Scrolling with my touchpad or touchscreen on my laptop is choppy with Firefex while being smooth as butter using Edge and Chrome. It's on a specific website with a ton of pictures - Slickdeals.net. No problems with all other websites. The issue is w or w/o hardware acceleration.

2. I thought I found something great with Firefox's option to disregard a site's native font...so that my chosen option will override every site. Instead, it's showing up on only a handful of sites I use. More confounding is the fact that changing font size is not taking effect...when I choose 'reader view' those options work perfectly but going into the main settings just won't act accordingly. I'm also on the Microsoft forum talking about help with a virus but I'd like to know if anyone else is struggling with this...thanks!
