PROBLEM: Pinned tabs are useful, but if I have more than one Firefox window open and I close them in the wrong order, the next time I open Firefox, my pinned tabs are gone and I have to pin them again.

SOLUTION: Pinned tabs should be able to be permanent so that they will re-open no matter which Firefox window is closed first. Is there a way to make this work?

My Firefox browser just updated to version 143.0.1. When the browser reopened, there was an instructional page that opened in a new tab describing the Unload Tab function. I followed the instructions, right-clicked on the tab, the drop down menu appeared, but there wasn't an Unload Tab option. However, there was a Reload Tab option shown.

How do I resolve this? I'm using a macOS 15.6.1.

Hello, with older versions of firefox, it was easy to rank your favorite sites, which could avoid having 50 windows open at all times. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have the settings of 'General > Startup > [checked] Open previous windows and tabs' on. Most of the time it works as expected, but there are several occurrences when all of the sudden all of my pinned tabs are gone. When this happened, I usually tried the 'Command + Shift + T' to restore them. Sometimes they came back, some other times, they don't.

Can you fix it?

It's starting to get really irritating because I can have >12 tabs pinned and it's troublesome to have to remember them all in case this happens again in the future.

So my Firefox updated itselfbold text to 143.0.1 and I get this message that I can now unload tabs. Yet when I right click, there is no option to unload.

On my previous windows 10 computer, when I clicked on a link in an e-mail it would bring up a new page. Under the new version of firefox for windows 11 I can't figure out how to set it to let me do this.

I was trying to log into my netgear account and I needed to reset my password so it sent me a code to do so. After it sent the code when I click on my e-mail it takes me out of the netgear page where I am supposed to input the code?

For some time, maybe 3 updates ago, when I open Firefox with my many tabs, I have this problem. The first 3 tabs that I close leave a blank space the width of 3 tabs on the tab bar. After that any new tab opens to the far right spot at the end of the blank area. This happens in a private window too (extensions closed). After I close a session, then reopen later, all my tabs are still in place but the first 3 that I closed reappear where they were at the start. Strange.

Hi. just saw with the last update i did that there is an unload tab feature, except i don't have it anywhere. Using windows 11, latest and firefox 143. I've restarted pc, reloaded firefox and still missing that feature.. what am i missing?

I used Firefox a few years ago, and I'm using the latest Firefox for days. Sometimes inactive tabs are auto-closed. How can I disable the feature or where can I check the URLs for closed tabs?

After the latest update, when I move a tab to the start of the line, it shrinks down to something unreadable. Before, it stayed the same size, with tabs all being the same size as each other, that size being dependent on how many tabs were open ONLY. How do I turn off this "Feature" ? I liked it the old way. I don't even know exactly what to look up to try to fix it.

I also hated tab groups, with my tabs suddenly moving around on me. I hate having to do research and maintenance every time I get an update. If this keeps happening, I may just stop updating or go to Chrome or something.

The only Firefox will open a link in a new tab is if I force it to do so by right clicking each link and choosing open in new tab. Before it automatically opened in a new tab.
