The newest update of Firefox makes my Windows Settings window pop up, and demands that I allow Firefox to access my location and or device.

This is unacceptable. That setting is greyed out on Win 10 machines....FIX FIREFOX. I am not buying a new computer just to use Win 11, which is nothing but spyware.

Firefox you can't X out the location services and it won't go away. It covers everything. I don't want to make a decision, I'll do it on my own terms when I feel like it.

Other competitors allow it, why not Firefox?

If you look at the attached image you will see a website address which is not able to proceed into the list below and then get authorised eg ALLOW or DENY. Please advise how I can achieve this required Permission.

In Firefox settings Privacy & Security Permissions I cannot enter the website details eg. https://realbridge.online/. This is entered on browsing line but will go into the area which enables the Allow Deny.

I previously accidentally removed notification permissions from discord. I'm trying to reanable them, but even when i enable the settings in discord firefox will not give me the popup to turn on notifications. when i click on the usual permissions tab myself it simply does not show the notifications option. they are not blocked in my firefox settings, and other sites like youtube and twitter work perfectly fine

I play the on-line KY lottery on a regular basis on my computer. As of late I am getting a message that states we cannot validate your location when I attempt to play games...ie. powerball, pick 3 and pick 4 etc. I had no problems until the last few weeks. I can play on my phone but I don't like to play on my phone.

I tried to add the KY lottery to the location permission area under the Privacy and Security settings. It will not accept it. I know at one time several website that I use used to be in the location permissions and now they're gone and I can still use the sites.

Confused and not sure what to do.

My microphone (stand alone) is not being detected by the website "Babel Audio" as I am attempting to connect on the website to test out my audio. My microphone does work for other programs on my computer and my taskbar does show that my microphone is connected correctly.
