Your new web site with Thought-provoking stories is very sad. I have use firefox for resurch for a long time & now it is bad. I old main site showed the web site that i used. Now it has only 7 sits that I used. So how do i get rede of Thought-provoking stories?????

It drives me crazy that when Firefox updates, it requires me to enter my system password to install a mysterious, always unnamed add-on. I know it does this, and it's been going on for years, and I hate it. I never want to enter my system password to install something that is unknown. Since the add-on is never identified, well, it could be something beneficial, or it could be some new malicious package that snuck into the update process. How am I supposed to know? To me, it's unacceptable that Firefox keeps doing this. (Maybe it's MacOS's fault, but this doesn't happen with any other non-Apple software package. So it's Firefox's fault as far as I'm concerned.) I've been using Firefox for decades--since it was Netscape. I don't to use any other browser except for special cases. But I'm thinking of switching over to using Safari all of the time. Not that it would harms Firefox or anyone involved in developing it if I switched. But switching to Safari now would be a p.i.t.a., so it shows how much this install bug annoys me. (Years ago I submitted some kind of bug report in the bug system, but that's a pain. It's an opaque bug reporting system for anyone outside of the Firefox developer community.) Well,that's it. Lovin' Firefox except for this feature.

Below are two attached images, please take a look. From my understanding there are two different translation features built into firefox, you can identify them by looking at the attached screenshots. I very much dislike the translation features which has the "page icon". The other option which looks like an "alphabet icon" and has "EN" attached to it is very much welcome. I want to add this translation feature to the toolbar, however when i open up the "customize toolbar option" there is no translation feature available. How can i add it? I do remember that in previous firefox version, the translation feature was pinned to the very right of the bar.

Firefox now takes forever to load Facebook. I tried resetting it but no joy. Duck Duck Go and the Microsoft browser are all much faster loading Facebook. Why is this? Can anyone help?

Hello! After a clean install of Windows 11 24h2 Pro, Mozilla Firefox is unusable. It takes about 2 minutes to load a page which is abnormal. I remember I had the same issue when I first installed Windows 11 23H2 Pro and that was resolved somehow but it was 2 or 3 years ago and I've no idea what the solution was back then. I've tried some basic stuff including Test suggestion which of course didn't resolve anything as almost all of them are referring to cleaning cache, reinstall Firefox etc and it literally has nothing to do with my situation. Any solutions?

Hello, I’m having trouble getting Firefox to work properly on my computer. During installation, the setup process becomes very slow, and once I manage to install it, Firefox hangs or becomes unresponsive within a few seconds after launching.

My system details:

Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit

What I’ve tried so far:

Reinstalling Firefox Running in Safe Mode Clearing profile data Disabling antivirus temporarily

None of these steps solved the problem. There are no specific error messages — the browser just freezes, and I have to close it via Task Manager.

Hello again. Re my very recent post about a game on facebook functioning very slowly after the latest update, I now discover a worse problem with a word-game on a different site that I have also played for years on Firefox. Basically, after the new update, I find that I am no longer allowed to complete a move. Given the now 2 problematic situations I have, do I now with great reluctance have to abandon Firefox?

The new update refuse to load youtube, MeWe etc. It says "Cannot do this offline".

managed to get here so I'm not offline. How do I uninstall the latest update?

On my Macbook I have four accounts. I loaded Firefox via one of them. I do not want Firefox running or its 'background processes' in the other accounts as I do not use it there. If I switch account from the one in which I use Firefox to another does Firefox keep running processes?

i am a new user of firefox and selected it to securely access some websites. I followed the instructions to set firefox as my default browser but the search bar still says" search with google or enter address " and it shows google as the web browser , When i click the dropdown menu firefox is not an option . I have recently found out that i couldn't add my Avast Antitrack to the system. On querying this with Avast they tell me that Firefox will no longer use this add on. I really want to know why this can no longer be used on Fire fox please.
