Hello, Firefox won't save my download history between sessions, history is set to remember. I tried doing the refresh on the installer and even reinstalling firefox and deleting all mozilla folders in %localappdata% and %appdata% before reinstalling. it just forgets all downloads once I close firefox.

It only happens on some websites (Wikipedia for one) and doesn't happen anywhere else in my system. I was unable to root out the reason for this and all solutions seem to be for when there are boxes instead. I don't see boxes, only Russian letters for some reason.

On all our computers it seems impossible to sign into Outlook...several laptops and 3 desktop...even a new Apple device. Enter your email address and then taken to the next page (see attachment). sign in works with Edge! This has been happening for maybe a month. Very frustrating! NEVER opens the next security window, the 'spots' just keep moving forever...selecting "Back" just repeats the cycle.

Not sure when I download Firefox to new PC ,How do settings I currently have in place transfer to new browser installation?

Also I have bookmarks on a memory card,Will they install to firefox by placing it in drive slot of my new windows11 machine?

All of a sudden Firfox changed to an unrecognizable language + alphabet. I uninstalled + reinstalled Firefox 2 more times + the same thing happened. If I try to change settings, everything is in illegible.

I was updated to 143.0.4 a couple of days ago. Ever since, I've had all kinds of issues. Some sites won't load properly. Some links are not clickable. We're talking sites I use all the time and have never seen this happen before. I have not changed anything in my firewall or antivirus and have used them for years with Firefox. I refreshed and nothing. I actually uninstalled Firefox, cleaned out the registry entries, and installed 143.0.3 today. And yes, I did set it to not auto-update. Still misbehaving. I don't know if I missed a reg key that might be the culprit. I'm currently using Chrome Canary - although it's not my favorite, it is working normally on the same sites I've tried with Firefox. I even opened Edge for the first time in ages - it's working fine as well! I love Firefox, but I don't know what to do at this point! Please, can you help?

My browser updated and now I've lost all my logins and passwords. Anyone know how I get this information back?

I have tried to find the old Firefox Backup on the desktop and the only one I have is from Dec 2024 - no backup from yesterday.

Hello- Wondering how to turn off the "skip to main content" that continually pops-up on some web sites. This is a problem on a single Firefox installation and I cannot figure out which setting this could be.

I want to share my extremely frustrating experience while trying to create desktop shortcuts for Firefox profiles. I have two profiles, and despite following all standard methods (including manually navigating to the profile folders), nothing worked. The usual steps, including directly creating shortcuts from the profile folder or using suggested tools, failed.

I specifically wanted a way to create exact shortcuts for each profile without manually editing anything. Even after testing everything, the only option left seems to be permanently leaving the profile inside Firefox and opening it from there, which defeats the purpose of quick access.

Due to this unnecessarily complicated process and lack of practical solutions, I have decided to leave Firefox permanently and switch to another browser.

Has anyone successfully created direct shortcuts for multiple Firefox profiles in Windows 11 without manual editing? Any practical advice would be appreciated, although I’m already moving away from Firefox.

Why do some websites not work fully on Firefox but work fine using Chrome or Edge? I had an issue with https://www.acmemarkets.com/. The product search feature of the web site did not work using Firefox but worked fine using Chrome or Edge. This has only recently started to be an issue.

Hi, I created mozilla account and turned on synchronization to save my passwords, history, etc. After I done it, I formatted my pc. Now I've just downloaded mozilla and log in to my account to see that NONE of my data were saved... How is it even possible? I turned synchronization on and then selected which data I want to save. Will you be able to help my with that?

Will i still be able to use the browser - just with less security? I will probably have to give up using a computer if I cant continue with Windows 7 so I'd even be prepared to pay an annual fee to keep the support going. for the last couple hours i have been having trouble with firefox not loading/running web pages properly, when i open youtube for example it displays completely wrong and on other sites it simple wont load any new data after the initial homepage screens.

My problem is that Firefox will no longer allow me to login to my primary websites (email, bank, Costco, Apple...). I originally assumed that my outdated version of the MacOS was the problem, which was tied to the age of my outdated iMac hardware. Hence, I bought a new iMac, with the latest MacOS. Firefox still does not work. There is something wrong with Firefox and I don't know what it is. I have captured screenshots of the symptoms of what goes wrong with each website, but the one thing in common is that they are saying it is an application error on my end of the connection — which must be the browser (Firefox). I am being forced to do my daily business with Safari, but that is a strange browser for me, and they do not have my numerous Bookmarks. Also, their way of storing bookmarks is very strange, so I only have 5 — the ones that I have found so far that do not work with Firefox. There are probably more, maybe All of my bookmarks, but these are the 5 that I need every day. When I log into my email, the result is Figure 1. This appears to me an application error on my side of the connection -- i.e., Firefox.

When I log into Apple.com, the result is Figure 3. This is Apple telling me there is something wrong on my side of the connection -- i.e., Firefox.

When I log into my account at Bank of America, everything looks fine at first. But when I try to open my checking account, the result is Figure 4. This symbol, swirling forever, indicates something wrong on my side of the connection -- i.e., Firefox.

Figure 4. BankofAmerica.com When I log into Hallmark.com, everything looks fine at first. But none of the links will open, hence I cannot obtain any information about upcoming TV programs. This indicates something wrong on my side of the connection -- i.e., Firefox.

All the above examples work perfectly with Safari. Firefox is supposed to be the most up-to-date browser, so why has Firefox stopped working properly?
