For the past couple weeks, comments on WSJ articles and opinions have not shown up in Firefox. They show up just fine if I use Edge. I'm running Firefox 128.0.2 on a Windows 10 computer.

I run uBlock origin. I tried disabling it, but that has no effect on the problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I work heavily in a site called Xactanalysis for work. This is a product by Xactware that is used for tracking, reporting and uploading estimates for insurance claims. They have released a reporting tool recently within Xactanalysis, and the issue is I cannot use with Firefox browser. This works with Chrome, however I would prefer to use Firefox.

I have entered the website address in the exceptions page, but still won't work. When asking Xactware for assistance they said manage the exceptions and it should work. This still doesn't seem to work, so I am curious if there is anything else I can do?

Pressing Alt in Firefox in Linux (Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Linux Mint 22.xx) brings up a top menu, which is hugely annoying as I'm always trying to to a window action if I'm pressing Alt.

The suggested solution is to go to about:config and change ui.key.menuAccessKeyFocuses to "false".

But this keeps reverting itself. (Between every other reboot?). Alt will again bring up this menu.

How can I permanently disable this shortcut?

Does Firefox support it? If not will it ever be supported or will we have to go back to Edge just so we can sign into Azure sites?

Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play any samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. I just want to bring it to your attention, that since my latest Windows 11 updates, Firefox browser has been having browsing issues.

1. Basic or multiple tabs are no longer browsing as before. Pages such as: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, CNN, Microsoft home Page, Google, GoDaddy, and so on.

Please note: I have cleared the Cache and internet history, and this does not make any difference. The issue remains the same.

What is causing this basic browsing issue with this version of Firefox?

Does this mean Mozilla Firefox sees the https://consent.cookiebot.com cookie as a third party tracking cookie that needs to be blocked as nobody gave consent to load the cookiebot consent popup?

Question 1: Is according to Mozilla Firefox https://consent.cookiebot.com a third party tracking cookie that needs to be blocked if you as a user want to have guarantees over your privacy online?

Question 2: Is it not strange to see Firefox blocking a widely used cookie consent system to protect users by giving consent to select which cookies will be set yes/no?

This issue started a few weeks ago. When I receive an email in my outlook account and click on it, a new window opens but there is no content, the page is blank. I know the link is working because if I copy and paste it into a new window it works fine. Is there a setting I need to change to be able to click on a link and have it open, like it has in the past? Since it is a new issue I am not sure if it is from an update or something. Thank you

I keep trying to use my plug in USB security key on bofa.com (for my Bank of America account log in MFA), but it keeps asking for a challenge phrase. I don't have any idea what this is. Can you help?

The request that pops up says:

'Making Sure It's You'

Please sign into "bankofamerica.com".

This request comes from the app "firefox.exe" by Mozilla Corporation.

Then has a blank line to enter 'Challenge Phrase'

    • I have no idea what this is. I do not recall setting up a "Challenge Phrase" on Windows or Firefox browser. Can you help me with this PLEASE?! I don't know what else to do!

I have tried several times to remove the security completely and re-add to the bofa.com website, I have tried to reset the security key itself back to factory.

2ndly its hard to get in touch with your crap support line can you also make it easier to get hold of your team rather going through 1000x pages, why is everybody not keeping any proper contact information you and google are same [edited]. exceptionally down the drain support. I am on a Windows 10 Pro PC 64 Bit OS with 16GB of memory, running Bit Defender Total Security. I have used Firefox for many years and have never had a problem The browser is version 128.0.2 (64-bit). A few days ago in the application menu told me there was an update and said to install it because it couldn't check for updates. I downloaded and installed it three times now, but the problem still persists. My Bit Defender also keeps popping up messages telling me "firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to aus5.mozilla.org. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since the used certificate was issued for a different web address than the targeted one." I have had over 2000 of those messages in the past few days.

I have never had an issue like this before. Is there a glitch in the most recent update? What can I do to fix it outside of resetting my browser, which logs me out of my google accounts and causes me to not be able to get back into them.
