Ever since the last update, the all menus take 3-4 seconds to load. That includes pressing the right mouse button. Tried to load in safe mode. Didn't work.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You can try to check for problems with your security software.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I'm not sure why Save mode hadn't worked because that also disables hardware acceleration.
