why is firefox sometimes pop up a bar at the top showing 'firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting, allow'

There is a setting for this:

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Advanced

On the General mini-tab, uncheck "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

Does that fix it?
