Deleted files under "history". "Most Visited" now does not log visited sites.
History file in "Library" dates usage. Deleted all the files listed,"One day ago".."One Month..." and so on. When I do this on my laptop,the files are gone but will appear again once activity starts. Did I delete a file?

The "Most Visited" Smart Bookmarks folder is based on data from your history log. So if you clear your history log, it will reset the "Most Visited" folder as well. As you start browsing again, items get added to the history log and the folder.
