Every time I try to use the firefox search bar it redirects to my google search bar. I downloaded firefox because I was tired of Google and wanted something different. Is there not a firefox search bar or am I doing something wrong?

That's right, there's no Firefox search, Firefox is a browser.

If you're tired of G**gle, go to menu -> Settings -> Search, you can set whatever you want as default search engine, for instance Duck Duck Go, Ecosia, Perplexity and so on.

Mozilla the makers of the Firefox web browsers for desktop Windows, macOS, Linux and mile versions for iOS/iPadOS and Android does not have a search engine of their own.
