Firefox on iOS/iPadOS is a web browser and not a search engine. The Google you are seeing in Firefox is a search engine. A search engine is for example duckduckgo.com. bing.com, google.com etc.

If you want to change or install another search engine in Firefox for iOS/iPadOS then see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-your-default-search-engine-firefox-ios https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-or-disable-search-engines-firefox-ios
